Hosting a series of 4 tea parties that are part of the ‘Traders Unpacked’ season of events, activities and workshops to mark the new permanent gallery  Traders: The East India Company and Asia. This gallery explores the history and continuing relevance of Britain’s trade with Asia, looking at this compelling story through the lens of the East India Company.

Our English tea party took place on Sunday 2nd October in the Orangery, in the beautiful Queen’s House. Hosting a traditional afternoon tea, our guests sampled scones and cakes with several cups of tea over a series of fun and interactive parlour games. Here’s some photos from the day.
